Annealing Services: Stainless Steel
We offer annealing services for many metals, including stainless steel. The stainless steel annealing process is performed by substantially heating the steel for an extended period of time and then allowing it to cool slowly. Stainless steel annealing prepares the steel for further work such as shaping, stamping, or forming. Annealing services of stainless steel can also be performed after brazing the steel to produce a high strength bond. This can be accomplished in a single furnace cycle.
Annealing services of stainless steel can produce a soft, ductile metal and can be used to relieve internal stresses, making the stainless steel less brittle. We can perform all of our stainless steel annealing services in both vacuum and inert atmosphere furnaces. By performing the annealing services in our industrial furnaces, we can prevent the steel from oxidizing and producing unwanted scale or discoloration.
