Vacuum Heat Treating and Copper Alloy Brazing

Copper Alloy Brazing Services

Copper alloy brazing uses low cost, versatile alloys. Copper alloys can be used to braze many different metals. Copper brazing alloys can be used to improve ductility and electrical conductivity. There are copper alloys that can be used without flux. Copper alloy brazing is economical and used in a wide variety of industries. Our copper alloy brazing services are NADCAP accredited.

Our copper alloy brazing can be performed in either a vacuum furnace or an inert atmosphere furnace. Our furnace brazing services allow brazing to be performed without flux, eliminating the need for post-braze cleaning and the possibility of flux corrupting the braze joint. If brazing is performed with copper alloys in a vacuum or inert atmosphere furnace, the finished part will be clean and bright. Our annealing services can be combined with our copper alloy brazing services, allowing the joint's structure to be controlled and strengthening the braze.

Copper alloy brazing is superior to welding because the parts are heated uniformly, making the part less likely to distort or induce thermal stresses. We can perform copper alloy brazing services to aerospace, medical, automotive and military specifications. We also offer diffusion bonding, tool steel hardening, and sintering services.
