Brazing Services: Military Specification Brazing
Our brazing services can be performed to military specifications. Gold and nickel brazing services are optimized for military uses, and can be performed in vacuum and atmospheric furnaces. Brazing heats the part uniformly, and is less likely to distort the piece or produce thermal stresses, making brazing services more appropriate for military specification.
We also offer copper alloy brazing, nickel alloy brazing, and silver alloy brazing for projects involving military specifications. We can also perform annealing services, tool steel hardening, sintering, and diffusion bonding. Annealing services can be performed along with brazing services, allowing more control over the joint structure of the part. The fact that both of these services can be performed in one furnace cycle is a benefit to any project involving military specification.
Vacuum brazing does not require the use of flux and can eliminate post-braze cleaning. The lack of flux makes vacuum brazing services optimal for military specification projects. We can also perform our brazing services in several inert atmospheres, including hydrogen, argon, helium, and nitrogen. All of our brazing services are NADCAP accredited which is often a requirement for military specification projects.
