Diffusion Bonding ServicesDiffusion bonding is a solid state joining technique that is normally carried out at a temperature much lower than the melting point of the materials to be bonded. Most diffusion bonding does not involve the use of flux or filler metal and instead uses heat and pressure applied in vacuum or inert atmosphere furnaces to join metals. The heat and pressure are applied for a specific amount of time (from minutes to hours) depending on the type of metal to be bonded. Our diffusion bonding services are NADCAP accredited. We can perform all of our heat treating services to aerospace, medical, automotive and military specifications. All of our diffusion bonding services are performed under highly controlled conditions. High precision components and intricate shapes can be manufactured using diffusion bonding. This is especially useful in the medical industry, where many small, complex parts are commonly used. Diffusion bonding is one of the many NADCAP accredited heat treatment services we offer. |
