Vacuum Heat Treating Services

Heat Treating - Nadcap Accredited

Heat treating is used to alter the physical or chemical properties of a material. Heat treating involves the use of heating or chilling to achieve a desired result, which is normally strengthening or softening of a material.

We offer many heat treating services, including annealing, solution annealing, stress relieving, brazing, diffusion bonding, sintering, and tool steel hardening, precipitation hardening, and many more. Annealing is a heat treating service that involves heating a material to a specific temperature and allowing it to cool at a controlled rate. Annealing is used to improve ductility and reduce stresses in a material. Brazing a heat treating service that is used to join two pieces of metal. The filler metal flows into the joint using capillary action and results in a leak-tight joint that can then be subject to other heat treating services.

Diffusion bonding is a heat treating service that is used to join two pieces of metal, not necessarily of the same type, by heating the material and applying a specified amount of pressure.

All of our heat treating services can be performed for the aerospace, medical, automotive and military industries. All of our heat treating services are NADCAP accredited.
